Phase Change Material: Analytical vs Numerical Solution

Phase change material (PCM) is the energy storage medium for latent heat thermal energy storage, which can store and release the energy while changing its phase, generally from solid to liquid and liquid to solid. To solve the Stefan problem, a numerical modelling for the PCM is done using the finite difference method and the numerical solution is compared with the analytical solution.
