Research Background
I am a Ph.D. Scholar in Mechanical Engineering Department at Indian Institute of Technology Ropar with a specialization in Thermal Engineering. My research is focused in the area of Solar Thermal Applications and Thermal Energy Storage under the supervision of Dr. Himanshu Tyagi. For more efficient and sustainable use of solar thermal systems, the intermittent nature of solar energy can be dealt by integrating these systems with energy storage. In past, I have worked to enhance the heat transfer coefficient of solar air heaters and at present, I am working to develop an integrated solar thermal system with latent heat thermal energy storage.
